Still in the dark past!

Tried, tested and failed! That is my conclusion on the possible future president of South Africa Jacob Zuma. I am not necessarily talking politics. But the sad reality that Jacob Zuma might be my president could also also be a factor that determines the future of this blog. On Friday, February 22, he agreed to attend a luncheon hosted by the Black Journalists Forum in South Africa, Johannesburg.

The problem I have with him accepting this invitation is that white journalists were barred from this occasion. The occassion that hosted the possible next president of the country. If Mr Zuma was a principled man as he claims to be, he should have declined the invite. If he was that hungry for a free lunch, then he could have set an example and refused to speak until all those whities, who were kicked out of the venue to be allowed in.

This forum of black journalists is so anti democracy and transparency. I listened to all their excuses for barring white journalists and they did not make any sense. The truth is they are making us look like uneducated savages who are comfortable with being repellers of change.

It is unfortunate that the people (Journalists)who are supposed to help the nation eradicate the evil spirit of racism - are the ones who are painting the country black and white. All media houses in South Afica have black journalists, but I like the fact that Talk Radio 702 and e.tv deliberately sent white journalist to expose the devil that possess the Black Journalist Forum here in South Africa. I still think the 702 and e.tv are hostile media houses especially towards governemtn - racism is just something I hate with passion. I therefore condemn the racists acts of this forum. The forum which I think lacks direction, mision and vision. The forum thatis out of touch with the South Africa that we so love.

Mr Zuma should have known that the forum is in a bid to divide us. He should have stood up to this like a man who understands the values of our Constitution. It's bad enought that we have future president that is battling to stay out of jail. Now we have to feal with the possibility that he may not understand our constitution.
